What Is Herbal Medicine?

Events

I teach classes and am involved with many different aspects of herbal medicine throughout the year.

I have done talks and classes on different subjects such as: preventative health for children, Women's health, the elderly, coping with stress and those suffering from chronic respiratory problems.

I have been involved in different community activities such as Treefest in Edinburgh www.fourwindsedinburgh.org.uk, Herb society www.herbsociety.co.uk, Blossom festival at Toryglen, with special interest in herbs growing locally and what medicines can be made from them. I am involved with a team who provide Herbal first Aid, locations include Knockengorroch music festival. I lead herbal walks in the city and the countryside. I have joined with different practitioners going into business companies and giving practical advice on managing stress.

I am currently working on a evening class titled ‘Kitchen Cupboard’ the class will mainly focus on basic first aid that is useful for everyday. Ways to help with colds, coughs, cuts and bruises and much much more.

Please contact Daisy if you are interested in me giving a talk or class, including herb walks.

Women's Herbal with Daisy Mae
I run this every year in Edinburgh at Four Winds. www.fourwindsedinburgh.org.uk

This year on Sat 5th July:
Learn how we can help ourselves in the changes of Womanhood. The first part of the day will involve tasting herbs and exploring the importance of trusting our intuition, including discussion on how what we eat has a dramatic affect on our health. We will then meet the herbs in the beautiful gardens of Four Winds and find out how amazing these friends are in supporting our process through the cycles.

On 14th June I will be on the stand at the Treefest.
